Coffeyvillecares

We connect people with the resources they need and strengthen the local networks that make our community resilient.

Who we are

Coffeyvillecares coordinates social initiatives and connects local services with the families who need them most. We are a community support hub, not a government agency — built by neighbors for neighbors.

Who we serve

Residents of Coffeyville and surrounding areas — families facing food insecurity, individuals looking for job training, seniors needing transportation, and anyone who wants to volunteer their time.

How we communicate

Warm, direct, and practical. We avoid jargon and speak plainly about real needs, real people, and real solutions. Our tone is grounded — we focus on what works and who it helps.

We believe strong communities are built on trust, clear information, and everyday acts of support.

Our Journey

From a small idea to a community anchor — the milestones that shaped Coffeyvillecares.

2018

Founding & First Outreach

Coffeyvillecares was founded by a group of local residents who saw gaps in access to food and health services. The first initiative was a monthly community meal that served 45 families. That single event revealed the depth of need and the willingness of neighbors to help.

2020

Emergency Response & Network Growth

During the pandemic, the organization shifted to emergency food distribution and remote resource coordination. Volunteer numbers tripled, and we partnered with four local churches and two health clinics. This period taught us how to scale quickly without losing personal connection.

2022

Resource Mapping & Formal Programs

We launched a structured resource directory and a volunteer training curriculum. The number of households served per month grew from 60 to 180. A dedicated caseworker role was created to help residents navigate benefits and referrals.

2024

Community Events & Sustained Impact

Regular events like the neighborhood clean-up and health fair became recurring programs. Over 400 residents participated in events last year. The organization now coordinates with 12 local partners and maintains a waiting list of volunteers — a sign of trust and momentum.
